Anmol Guragain is a Computer Science and Engineering graduate from Vellore Institute of
Technology. He has gained valuable experience through his internship at the Aural and
Language Intelligence Lab at A*STAR in Singapore. Currently, Anmol serves as a Research
Assistant at NAAMII, where he focuses on language and speech research, particularly for
Natural Language Processing in Nepali. His primary research areas include Automatic
Speaker Verification (ASV), Speech Emotion Recognition (SER), and he specializes on
deepfake detection in audio. Anmol is dedicated to advancing the field of AI by working on
low-resource languages and exploring parameter-efficient fine-tuning approaches. He aims
to contribute to responsible and sustainable AI development by minimizing computational
resource usage.
