Pratima Upretee is a research associate at NAAMII. She has completed her master’s (M.Sc.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from Erciyes University, Turkey in August 2019.  

Her researches focus on the implementation of signal processing, machine learning and deep learning techniques to biomedical data. She is also interested in medical image processing, computational neuroscience, and brain-computer interface for neurorehabilitation.

Completed projects:

-Classification of heart sounds for disease diagnosis by using a single time-varying spectral feature (Master’s thesis) 

– EEG Signal Processing and Non Invasive Brain Computer Interface for Wheelchair Movement (Bachelor’s project)
