Raunak Shrestha, PhD
Adj. Research Scientist
Research Theme: Bioinformatics, Genomics
I’m a Bioinformatics Post-doctoral Research Scholar working at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). My main interest lies in studying how complex patterns of high-throughput biology (-omics) data can be integrated and analyzed together to associate genotypes-to-phenotypes in clinical context. My current research focuses on understanding molecular mechanisms of treatment-resistant prostate cancer through computational and statistical analysis of genomic data.
General research interests: Bioinformatics, Cancer Genomics, Prostate Cancer, Infectious Disease Genomics, DNA sequencing, Network Medicine, Machine learning
