NAAMII annually organizes Nepal AI school and has successfully conducted three winter editions. The inaugural version was successfully held in December 2018 and the second edition was held in December 2019, and the third edition was held in December 2021 that was conducted in a hybrid model due to COVID-19 restrictions. In the third winter edition of ANAIS – research scientists, faculty, young researchers, and professionals from all around the world disseminated and discussed the fundamentals and arts of modern AI technologies via different online and onsite mediums. The majority of the researchers based abroad were alumni of local universities who have very good knowledge of key gaps in the existing courses available in the region.
