Talks delivered by NAAMII researchers on “AI in Biotechnology”

With an invitation by Biotechnology Society of Nepal, Dr. Raunak Shrestha, Adjunct Research Scientist at NAAMII and Jatin Bhusal, Research Assistant at NAAMII, delivered two talks today on applications of AI in biotechnology, and how NAAMII is innovating in the field of healthcare with AI research.

Dr. Shrestha virtually shared his insights on “Application of AI in Biotechnology and Medicine”, where he disseminated and interacted with participants on crucial yet emerging topics like “Need of AI/ML in genomics”, “Bio-informatics”, “Machine Learning in Genomics” and so on.

Jatin on the other hand shared how NAAMII has pioneered leveraging AI and its application in enhancing and improving healthcare and treatment procedures, alongside giving a brief introduction on fundamental concepts of AI and ML beforehand Dr. Shrestha’s presentation.
